Trying to Watch Crunchyroll's Winter 2024 Lineup
Hey! It's a new year... Do you know what that means? New anime. Fuck yeah!
Well, I'm trying something this year, and just like people on the internet say, I'm doing it only for the content. Nah, just kidding, I'd do it either way, but I just thought that if I'm doing this I might as well share it with you. I will try to watch the whole lineup of new anime coming to Crunchyroll this season.
It's something that I've been trying to do for a while now and somehow end up returning to my old favorite anime instead of watching something new. I think it's bound to happen if I end up not liking the story or animation style – I'd say it's impossible to like every single anime –, however, if it comes to that, I will let you now why and try to put it into words the best I can.
Here's how I think I will do this. I will do a review in three stages:
- First impressions: After watching the first episode, I will give you my thoughts on it for every series. I might come up with some grades for story and animation, just to see if it changes throughout the season.
- Mid-season review: Let's touch base after episode 6 of every series and see how the series has developed. There's a chance that by this episode I'd have dropped a series.
- End of the season review: Let's do a last review once the season ends. Maybe come up with a top 3 or some kind of recognition for series with mentions for best animation, best story, best main character, best girl; you know, all the weeb stuff.
Yeah, something like that. I'll fine tune the details as we go, but that's the general idea.
Crunchyroll Winter 2024 Lineup
This is the lineup coming to Crunchyroll this season. Please keep in mind that maybe not all of them will be available in Mexico, but I will let you know in the first impressions post. Remember, I'm only seeing new anime. I don't really feel like seeing the second season of a show I may have not watched from the beginning.
