If you know something about Kurt Travis –Dance Gavin Dance, A Lot Like Birds & Eternity Forever–, you know he's worked like crazy to be where he is. He's versatile, picky about his projects and seems to be pretty involved in everything he touches.
This kind of work ethic doesn't come without drama. And, famously, I think the biggest loss was Eternity Forever. It doesn't matter what happened, 'cause it happened long ago, but it forever pains me that the band is no longer together. Well, at least we got 2/3 of it back and they came up swinging. After splitting the band, Kurt and Brandon –CHON– decided to keep making music and brought us Gold Necklace.
Ever since release, I always thought "I Felt It Too" talked to me somehow. It has the vibes of me flirting, I would say, because in my opinion it feels awkward, straight forward and nerdy... But has rhythm... Like me.
