Being a fan of Gracie Abrams is something I sometimes have to explain to people that know me the most–same with Taylor Swift, although she lost me after she left her cowgirl / country phase. Every now and then, the itch to hear them catches me by surprise in someone else's house where, much to the disgust of the metal heads I have as friends, the change in pace is mostly welcomed by the female audience.
I'm more than graceful to have Our Last Night come and do metal versions of the pop songs I enjoy the most, because it helps conciliate both sides of my musical spectrum. It, of course, also brings something new with its composition and has surprised my friends when I tell them "hey, that's a song from Gracie Abrams". The look in their eyes is priceless.
I don't think there's much else to say, except that it's been on repeat in my playlist–and my head–for the last couple of weeks. I honestly hope it traumatizes you, too. Enjoy!
